The Jones Engineering Fleece Remover is designed to operate in a variety of widths of up to 4 metres. It is used for retrieving and re-laying all types of crop covers in a safe and controlled method.

The Fleece Remover is operated by passing the fleece through a hydraulically controlled arm and wrapping it around a spool. With the tractor stood on the headland, the fleece is wound in. A seperate spool controls the hydraulic arm to ensure even wrap.

The Fleece remover uses a high torque hydraulic motor capable of pulling up to 200m of crop cover, the speed at which this motor pulls in at can be controlled by electronic speed control. The rate of fleece retraction and function of the arm is all controlled from the tractor cab.

Hydraulic rams eaither side of the machine allow it to be narrowed for transport.
